The last s-chips saga brought billions to the UOB and other houses A-teams, $billions to the 100s of s-chip bosses, and tears to the investors. I hope this time is different. But if ooway is supposed to help OBOR companies from China to raise funds overseas, it means those companies are not like those that XiJinPing brought to the OBOR participating countries, because I think China actually also brought billions of cash to those countries to help them build JV infrastructure projects. Raising funds in those countries is not what they do. In fact, those participating countries kowtow to China for the cash and projects they brought in. Some countries themselves raise funds to help fund the projects. My understanding of the OBOR initiatives is very limited, there maybe many different individual scenarios.
