Today news, the MBK buyout is completed in Jap, they will delist soon. Alson noticed a lot X aroudn 11am+...not sure if that was SBB

In addition, in order for the Target Company to specialize in the business of operation of golf courses, it needs to implement the asset-light strategy promptly, taking into consideration the market conditions. However, as long as the Target Company remains a listed company, it may not be able to implement the asset-light strategy promptly. That' s the reason for the delisting, but if they still keep AGT listed, so correct me if im wrong but wouldnt that affect their strategy since they will still need to payout to unitholders in the business trust every Q? |

Fair enough - or they may try to raise their stake in AGT. Anyway - it's not a bad development given that things have not been moving on the growth front for this counter.

Bro....it's in the news everywhere....btw the buy out was for the parent in Japan...1210 yen per share....the parent is controlling almost 1/3 of AGT....so I am pretty optimistic that they will make an offer to delist AGT too...it doesn't make sense for them to share all theit hardwork with minority like us so the most straight forward thing to do is to pay us for the share that they didn't own and find another way to unlock the value :) of course they will deny it initially...just like this took over case a few mths back :)

Frankly I hope this stock stays undervalued and ignored but that they keep to their DPU policy and the Yen stays strong. I am not keen on another cheapo buyout like SMRT. | ||||

Prepare for a good run up, normally they will make offer to take the trust that they deem under value, in this case AGT is now trading at 0.67....let's see if they can match the $1 book value :) Congrates to all that have faith in this stock :) | ||||

read somewhere that they will delist the parent once acquired for easier management decisions (quicker), not too sure if they need to delist the trust as well or can it still remain? still good news in the sense that they will be making improvements to the golf courses, new acquisitions etc after the takeover, which seems positive in the long run? Any other views? |

Actually, its not too clear to me how the impact of Accordia (Parent) being acquired will impact the Accordia Golf Trust listed on SGX. Is this because there is speculation that the Golf Trust will also be acquired by the K.K. MBKP Resort ? I' m not sure if this is a necessary follow-through event. |
