CHASING & MUSUDAN (1st quarter 2016 ) LIFE RISKING ROMANCE (1st half of 2016) MUSUDAN tells the story of a 24-hour skirmish between North and South Korean soldiers as they race to solve a series of mysterious murders in the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). The mystery thriller stars Lee Ji-ah, well-known for her lead role in the television drama, THRICE MARRIED WOMAN and ATHENA: GODDESS OF WAR. Lee has been nominated for and won several awards for her roles in television dramas. The film also features Kim Min-jun (TOP STAR, 2013 THE CONCUBINE, 2012) and Oh Jonghyuk, the former lead singer of the K-pop idol band Click-B. MUSUDAN is produced by Golden Tide Pictures and directed by Gu Mo. CHASING, also presented and distributed by Opus Pictures, is an exhilarating action comedy about an all-night high-speed chase involving Seung-ju, a former famous mobster, Jeong-taek, a sloppy detective, and an uncontrollable group of high school students. The action comedy features veteran actor Kim Seung-woo (71-INTO THE FIRE, 2010), Kim Jung-tae (MIRACLE IN CELL NO. 7, 2013), and Hyuk, from the K-pop idol group VIXX, who will make his film debut. The film is produced by The Queen D& M and directed by Oh In-chun, who produced the 2014 mystery horror, MOURNING GRAVE. LIFE RISKING ROMANCE follows the story of a mystery novel writer Jane (Ha Ji‐ won), her best friend and a police officer Rokhwan (Chun Jung‐ myung), and a mysterious but charming neighbour Jason (Chen Bolin). With the recent series of murders happening in town, the romantic relationship among the three as well as the investigation of the murders become complicated. The romance thriller stars one of Korea&rsquo s top actresses Ha Ji‐ won, who is best known for her lead roles in television dramas, EMPRESS KI (2013/14), SECRET GARDEN (2010), and HWANG JINI (2006). Ha has also starred in several movies including the 2009 box office hit HAUNDAE, and has won numerous acting and popularity awards throughout her career. Also starring in the film is Korean actor Chun Jung‐ myung who is best known for his lead roles in the 2015 drama series HEART TO HEART and RESET (2014). The film also features popular Taiwanese actor Chen Bolin who is famous for his acting roles in many Chinese films and television dramas including IN TIME WITH YOU (2011). He was also the lead actor for 20 ONCE AGAIN (2015), the Chinese remake of Korean movie MISS GRANNY. This will be Chen&rsquo s first time starring in a Korean movie.

You' re welcome! I own over a million shares in SQG, and I was some of the volume recently as 40E has gone up and I' ve been hitting the ask. It' s frustrating to see 40E trade 10' s of millions of shares and my Spackman stock stays so boring. So really it' s a win both ways. I tell people here and they benefit by picking up cheap Spackman shares through SQG, the holding company of 40E, and I win because maybe there will be some volume and excitement spillover from 40E to SQG. I encourage everyone to do their own research on SQG just so you know i' m not doing any lying or trickery. Just search for " Spackman Equities Group" and you' ll see it' s also owned by Charles Choi Spackman and its major holding (maybe 95% of SQG' s value) is in 40E.

Not very much, it rarely trades, but for the last month or so volume has picked up a little bit because at least SOME people in Canada recognize the move up in 40E. Maybe 50K or 100K shares a day, but some days still have no volume: finance dot yahoo dot com/q/hp?s=SQG.V+Historical+Prices But a discount is a discount. If people buy more, then there will be more volume. Might not be too many sellers though. But even if someone can get only 100K shares of SQG for $6K CAD, that' s better than buying 100K shares of 40E for $16K SGD. SQG owns 38.77% of 40E, but also has 3 times less shares outstanding, so the math just so happens to work out that 40E @ 16 cents means SQG has a 16 cent NAV.

Spackman Equities (SQG.V) in Canada is trading at more than a 60% discount to 40E now! SQG.V owns 38.77% of the shares in 40E and has 150M shares outstanding. When 40E is 16 cents per share that' s $24.73 million in NAV or 16 cents per share after you consider the translation from Singapore to Canadian Dollars. SQG trades at only 6 cents so it is like buying 40E at a 60% discount. SQG is scheduled to release financial results in a few days where they will disclose NAV. This will maybe push up the stock price so there' s not such a variance between 40E and SQG. You might wonder how this can be at such a discount? Well because Canadians are don' t know how to invest lol. So there' s an opportunity to buy Spackman at a discount if you' re able to trade Canadian stocks. |
