This was driven by higher online and offline retail consumption in both countries, the company says. Its new leases include 42,000 sqm by three retailers in China, including Aeon and Metro, who are first-time customers for GLP. In Japan, 27,000 sqm is leased to Maruni Business Logistics, a third-party logistics provider, to support growing demand from apparel companies. GLP adds that with its Japan deal, GLP Neyagawa, its logistics facility in Osaka expected to be completed in 2Q18, is now fully pre-leased. "These leases reinforce our view that global consumption will continue to drive demand for GLP's logistics facilities. In Japan, we expect absorption to remain strong and we will continue to focus on the core markets of Tokyo and Osaka," said Ming Z. Mei, CEO of GLP. "In China, consumers continue moving toward organised retail channels and we will continue to provide well-located logistics facilities and value-added solutions to support these growth trends."

Been holding this counter for a long time and adding more when it was going down at 1.xx level.   My own opinion: 1.   First Bid should be at least above a conservative $3.00 2. Final bid range $3.50 - $4.00. Lets see if I am right when the time comes. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Touch 2.8 come down. So houses are asked to buy no more than 2.8. So 2.8x10% = 3.08 around.😁 😁 😁 A lot think too much lah. If you are bidders and want to buy glp for sure. You definitely has asked houses to accumulate at early stage. even you lose in bidding, the share accumulated still can sell to the higher bidders with better price. So a quick recovery at 2.65 till 2.8 sell down. So mean one of the bidders bid are around this range plus certain percentage 5-10%? Counter offer? The bidders may has commanded houses to collect from them at open market now. So the house try to buy 10% cheaper than offered price. any price higher say no. So explain why price at 2.65-2.7??? May be bidders will adjust in next round counter offer? Who knows but based on price seem like is around 3 dollars
