Thus, money in my pocket surely is better than with someone else. I can then invest the lump sum instead of waiting till 4th qtr payout. This is purely my personal preference, no need to agree with me la.  Greedy ppl is like that one. LOL.

No wonder many institutional funds are pouring into this and driving this share price up... ... x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	DBS commitment to returning capital over the next three years is something like Singtel' s paying a realisation dividend, except that it is not indefinite.  It does guarantee that those who hold for the next three years can expect to receive around three dollars or more a year of dividend return. I think that is marvellous for long term holders. For this reason, I am happy to keep for the next three years because I have a good idea of the sort of dividend returns from this company. pkli899      ( Date: 10-Feb-2025 10:14) Posted: The results good? Yes of course, but below my expectation somewhat la. The dividend to be given out this qtr also disappointing, 60c only. Previously, any special payout they give together with 4th qtr dividend. This time round the 15c per qtr only kick in from 1st qtr 25. Maybe I too greedy. Anyway, going forward, I believe 60c per qtr will stay even though it was not specifically mentioned in this announcement. I remember sometime back, outgoing CEO did say we can look forward to 24c increase in annual dividend for the next 2 to 3 years. Not the exact words but something to the effect.
