With Singtel recent strong  rally, its leaving the rest lagging far behind ..... (Singtel $66+ billion, DBS $39+ billion) Guess DBS will  likely be the next to catch up quickly  .....

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Dow S& P are at record high. Funds are out of Europe ? ( cld be more out of UK due to Brexit ) . Not forgeting its US  election in Nov ​ Asia do offer a good investment ...especially with yeild of about 4% for Singapore market and MOST IMPORTANT still consider a safe heaven. Our banks are rock solid compare to many ...with prudent conservative MAS law and prices are relatively low . China is only concern but still having good growth 5/7% ..... I do see STI crossing 2900 especially with the result seasons coming up ( funds also want the dividend and to park their cash .) Personal view. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Problem is sometimes, when things get negative, they come up with all sorts of negative scenarios.  But when things look positive, all seem quiet.  Eg, when SIBOR was chionging a the beginning of this yr, I was probably among a few who said banks' NIM wld benefit.  Yet, banks here were being sold down like no tomorrow.  Now, with FED looking less likely to up rates, people are saying low interest rates are negative for bks.  I know that also.  But when positive, why no one seemed to want to factor this in.  This is part of the reasons why I' m so cynical abt analysts calls.  seanpent      ( Date: 04-Jul-2016 15:45) Posted: see your point, bro ..... are all analysts experienced enough ?
