0.35 x billions of shares (conversion from debt) = immediatly becoming a billion dollars company overnight. Have never seen this before, will camp outside exchange to sell my share if this happens

Pursuant to the terms of the DIP loan agreement, Hyflux said in the latest SGX filing that it has made an application to the court under Section 211E(1) of the Companies Act for this loan to be secured by &ldquo way of first priority fixed charges&rdquo over certain properties of the company. These include all of the company&rsquo s ordinary shares in HyfluxShop Holdings, all of its 6 per cent cumulative non-convertible non-voting perpetual preference shares in the capital of HyfluxShop Holdings, alongside all of its shares in two wholly-owned subsidiaries Spring China Utility and NewSpring Utility. Under Section 211E, the court can grant rescue-capital providers &ldquo super priority&rdquo , or seniority claims, on a company' s assets over existing creditors.

Best for creditors to restructure the debts quickly eather than pay legal fees. If Maybank doesnt want then some sg/indo banks can take over the debts. S&M has good connections, so definitely doable.

The estimated costs required to complete the TuasOne waste-to-energy plant have also doubled in a matter of months. On May 22, when Hyflux filed for court protection, the costs were estimated at S$85 million. The figure was raised to S$132 million in June, and S$172 million in October. The expected project completion date is now September 2019, from May 2019 previously.

Dear Olivia what exactly you want ? The best course of action is S& M ask Hyflux to sell off Tuas Spring, clear the debt of Maybank, then get S& M $530 million cash injection. How can S& M expect Hyflux to clear it' s debt if Hyflux want to hold on to Tuas Spring ? If S& M want to makan Hyflux and take Tuas Spring then S& M should be the one clearing the debt of Maybank as Hyflux now no money liao. |

Let Hyflux have more time to screw short-sellers and get things straighten before lifting suspension.
Indo conglomerates S and M have all the $$$ firepower and time in hand to settle those secured loans, which Maybank is more than happy to ride along. Hyflux need to restructure it's unsecured loans and bonds to get things going |

Maybank has been troubled by M' sian politic changes share price down, Hyflux cannot pay bond, share price down, all in all the share price wiped out millions RM already who pity the share holders still holding the shares ? if after extended 4 months no deal, Maybank share price drop again because of this delay tactic? just force sell Hyflux recover the money from SCI (Govt approved company).

Trader pledged shares with bank to loan money, if margin call ,if no money they force sell the shares immediately....Try to negotial with them also cannot saying, need to answer to shareholders...bank share price affected if large loan cannot recovered on time ,balance sheet in red. After 4 months if no deal or govt not approve the deal how ? Maybank share price drop who pitty us ?

do business must think of long term not when raining day want the umbreller back from your clients immediately.... if bank strategy like what you said then the bank will lose their goodwill in future market.. i think you are one of the shortist want to see Hyflux close shop

If Maybank can answer to shareholder why company owed money can extend and extend again while margin call ,no money force sell immediately ?...must query the Maybank chairman, missed the opportunity to recover the owe money ,did Hyflux pay late charges ?
