x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Temasek unit Breedens Investments on Friday released its offer statement for Olam International, giving shareholders until 5.30 pm on May 9 to accept its cash offer of S$2.23 a share. But if the offer becomes unconditional, it will remain open for at least 14 days after May 9. The offer becomes unconditional if the consortium receives acceptances with more than 50 per cent voting rights attributable to its maximum potential share capital before the offer ends, or of all issued shares as at the close of the offer. Temasek Holdings had on March 14 launched the offer for all Olam shares that it did not already own, in a deal that values the agri-commodities firm at S$5.33 billion

See Chanrai selling a quarter of their holdings to Temasek, but did not sell any warrants. We all know that Olam need money to take advantage of its Africa advantage.Rights for many projects, increasing palm and rubber acerages, fertilizer and more distribution businesses, whatever Temasek see in them. With rights  there will be free warrants and you need only to come up cash later. See my earlier post sell shares buy warrants if you want to stay with Temasek. Action should be taken taken against investors involved in Insider Trades !!! We cannot be a First World state if we allow these transactions to go through without penalty !! Even a layman could tell by looking at the chart action
