- some people should not buy shares as they don?t have the capital to risk and treat it like gambling - this is not a casino it?s a place to invest prudently. |

The STI should have reached at least 3,300 to 3,500 by now. Many of such born loser investors in Singapore will never be successful trading and investing in SGX. I would suggest that they go to the casino. It makes little or no difference since these retail and institutional investors are either dumb or they prefer to cheat to get rich quick like Bill Hwang of Archegos Capital. They are losers. | ||||

It is the stupidest thing to pursue more money after 60 when you have done well enough because the struggle and heavy mental stress and pressure to get the extra cash may most likely end your life prematurely. | ||||

Many Investors in Singapore are really a bunch of clowns and born losers. They are willing to sell down their shares just because HSK is stepping down for a younger and more dynamic 4G replacement to take Singapore forward. HSK is 60 and he surely deserves some rest and peace of mind, having worked so hard even with an earlier minor stroke. When you reach 60 and have done more than well enough like HSK, more money means nothing. I wish him well. Health is more important than wealth. It simply doesn' t mean the end of the Singapore and so SGX STI has been trading negatively when the rest of the Asian markets are still tracking the rosy US market expectations. |

Very sayang.. if you were observant yesterday, you would have noticed that last two hours it was pushing to break 3.80. Then came leak of HSK in the last half hour, and the stock went into reverse gear. so back to square one.

With all the Singapore blue chips over bought and the US S& P / Dow and NASDAQ all way too high and Japan just off new highs it' s time to focus on companies that can ride through any expected correction- my choice is CapitaLand with it' s delisting and soon to be approved package for shareholders. Only other share I would consider is SIA on a pullback be at to $5 | ||||

Here is what is happening with CapitaLand
- 10 point summary :- 1. CapitaLand has offered a generous and fair package to investors and will delist - the package value adds up to approximately $4.20 2. Currently CapitaLand is averaging $3.78 having hit a high of $4.04 a few weeks back 3. The 9c dividend is generous and is goes ex div on 4th May 4. To benefit from CapitaLand now we need to HOLD not trade it and we will be rewarded 5. While most other companies on SGX will be at the mercy of the Dow Jones Index etc CapitaLand is a source of stability in an otherwise over-bought global market 6. Married deals are taking place at $3.808 and JP Morgan has been buying heavily - this is a good sign 7. CapitaLand has the right to buy back it?s own shares ( something banks currently do not have ) and at $3.78 it?s practical to do so rather than distribute $4.20 equivalent to all shareholders 8. Temasek holds 52% and the delisting and proposed dividend will definitely go through as it should 9. Let?s not be nasty to those selling at this price as they are naive and just wasting their money but they will soon learn that it was a mistake 10. Those with deep pockets and able to hold CapitaLand will definitely benefit - simple maths ... $4.2 - 3.78 = a discount of 44 cents right now on the proposed delisting arrangement. |
