x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Well I am at least quite correct in my analysis.....not likely CIMB increase target price of $1.40 set in March 2021 as actual net profit without divestment gain is $44.6mill but their forecast in March was   for $49.4mill.   So in the end " Add" (which is less powerful than " Buy" ) at same target price $1.40. I dont think analysts do this just for the sake of it Rather than posting here they should raise or lower TP, why not simply alert and show him all your analysis and see what is his response?

Cannot just depend on one biz segment to do well - at least 2 out of 4 biz segment must do well. My Silverlake Axis got TP lowered by CIMB and DBS though still " BUY" because of decreasing profits and been stuck at $0.24. Though there is possibility of future divestments for 53% owned BP, it can be 1 or 2 or 3 years away. Selling buildings is not like selling fish in the market. I was thinking why they sell before results..do they already know something? I was too optimistic about Boustead beating CIMB' s net profit forecast of $49.4mill which is their basis for target price $1.40. Since actual net profit without divestment gains is $44.6mill, missing CIMB' s target by 10%, what will they write? So I sold to lock in profits.  crystalbee      ( Date: 27-May-2021 10:20) Posted: Some market manipulation going on to push down prices or weak holders selling. Boustead Projects share price holding well when actually it would have made tiny loss without smart launch of Boustead Industrial Fund. Dividends $0.154 actually below some people' s expectations but they need to keep funds for expansion. I am more interested in Boustead' s business outlook in Geospatial Technology and Energy related Engineering segments which I believe should be good. How much Dividends is bonus. Block out the selling..sell and lose your gain. Cannot be that bad I think.
