Yes. Catering even need to put the time good for consumption. It' s just a procedure to protect corporate interest. In the end of the day, people still eat it beyond the timing.The issue is they are protected within these time frame. You eat out from that timing, is your tai chi! lol. Normally applied to cooked food for catering...

Its a food safety issue. As I understand it, nowadays, caterers are required to place a sign to saythat food being served is to be consumed by certain time (I think it' s within 3.5 hrs). It' s a food safety issue. So, iIs it I' m wrong or authorities not vigilant. u form ur own conclusion. If we want to have a code, make sure it' s enforceable. Otherwise, it' s NATO. It' s just like parroting away abt corporate governance n transparency almost every day until we see also sian. But we know what the real situation among many coys.

You are wrong. When you go to neighbourhood cake shop, the cake can place there for days! So when you bought those cake, the texture or the cake gone, abit hard....lol Gov can' t check everything...no doubt many driver don' t have driving license or license got suspended still drive on the road!

I thought all perishable foods must be sold within the same day. Shldn' t the authorities have a mechanism to ensure this (like conducting spot checks)?

Some of the cake shop sell their cake or bread cheaper near closing hour, but Breadtalk don' t really have this practise. Then those unsold cake still left on the shelf to sell the next day and there after...how about those bread? I still remember the image how they replaced the fruit (strawberry) of the cake, personally saw it and not so on to take photo to post it up! lol I know Crystal Jade bread they sell it cheap i think after 8pm. Prima Deli selective outlet also got cake offer at night before close. (Those offer is more than 1 day that' s why they cheap off cheap)

the price of this type of bread is considered artisan bread to me. perhaps someone should calculate the real value of a pork floss bun. :) kopi also si bei expensive. Go eat MacDOnald cone ice cream. Its fortunate that they still have other businesses that is generating revenue for them |

this bugger is also one over-value counter like those healthcare sector.. even after today drop, still 20+ p/e.. imagine if it perform like many of our small/mid cap which is below 5 p/e, then the price would have been like 20+ cents lol |
