Yep,I was lucky to have bought it back when I saw some what appeared to me to be manoeuvring (strange that these always happen before px-sensitive announcements). Anyway, px is cheapo, at 35% discount to NTA, n especially when the PRC is starting to sizzle again, which inevitably pulls the Australian resource sector along, both of which will likely improve TH' s bottomline (n share px) significantly. But like I have always said, that is the mkt. The bigger picture though is, if so many big coys (n TH is a very big crane player) are finding listing on SGX such a pain, then it' s really time for SGX to close shop. Looking from another angle, the bums there don' t seem to have a clue as to how to create visibility for the mkt here. Very sad. Maybe it' s time for Roland Ng to privatise CSC too.

Got out @46. Par.... Incurred brokerage, may or may not run after no deal of General Offer. Not betting anymore, moving on to next counter to have some peace of mind. Good Luck to those who chose to stay, although I must say the price action looks good lately. |

Tat Hong reached 46 cents now... Certainly bucked the trend after the last official announcement when most would expect it to slide. Trap by management? Looking strong again...... |

This one tow hong liao. I' m watching closely though. With so many emblocs, GLS, etc, we' ll probbably see TH cranes everywhere soon. Also, BAR (belt n route) in PRC and so much construction there, likely impact on TH will be positive. Finally, Australia doing well too. So, if SCPE wanna buy at 50c, y wanna sell 43c now? But I vested small small only cos this mkt is chng kay land, n if we are not careful easily kena swallowed up. DYODD as always.

Can we go buy up some shares and then set up a $2 private limited and then go around annoncing we will be buying over the listed companies and then make the share price rocket and then we sell our shares and huat big. Then we say we abort the buy over and simply act blur afterwards like the addvalue tech china company buy over case

Today' s annoucement (update) " The Company disclosed in the November 2017 Announcement that the Company has received a non-binding letter from Standard Chartered Private Equity (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (" SCPE" ) confirming its proposal to acquire the shares of the Company at an offer price of S$0.50 per share, subject to various conditions (the " SCPE Letter" ). The November 2017 Announcement further disclosed that the SCPE Letter states that it does not constitute a firm intention to make an offer by SCPE for any shares in the Company and should not be construed as creating any legally binding obligations on SCPE. " Same as Addvalue tech. Sometimes I wonder if a group of BB annouce that they have intention to buy over a company and then make the share price rocket and then sell to innocent unsuspecting investors and earn huge profit and then later abort the buy over aka the BB have no intention buy over all the while, they just want to manipulate the share price so that they can profit. Any department or will CMIB go check whether crime is commited?

Executives at SCPE decided late last month to move ahead with the proposal known as Project Titan, people familiar with the discussions said. Tat Hong& rsquo s current controlling shareholders, Chwee Cheng & Sons Pte and related parties, who own more than half of the company, would boost their stake to 71 percent while Standard Chartered Private Equity would get a 29 percent, the people said, declining to be identified as the talks are private. The report indicated that the talks are still private, (I believe still one-way, Tat Hong has yet to accept). Therefore, info may be sketchy at this point of time. CSC holdings is the controlling stakeholders (notice the recent surge in stock price). SCPE indicated 29% which means they are not obligated to make a General Offer. That' s where the confusion comes in. If the remaining 71% is held by (or boosted in report) CSC, then where will that leave us, the public shareholders? (I did not study the entire report in depth, but mostly bite the bullet to buy in. So, my friends out there, as they say, please do your own homework, research before commiting, especially if you are to wager a big sum)
