Maybank&rsquo s Jarrick Seet has raised his target price for AEM Holdings to $13.50 from the previous $11.48 at an unchanged &ldquo buy&rdquo call in his Aug 13 report. For 1HFY2026 ended June 30, AEM Holdings reported a 876% y-o-y increase to $30.8 million, on revenue of $247 million, which is 29.9% higher than 1HFY2025. AEM has raised its FY2026 revenue guidance to $630 million to $680 million from $550 million to $600 million, with EPS guidance of 24.5 to 27.5 cents, which is also 20-35% above Seet&rsquo s initial estimates.   Describing AEM&rsquo s 1HFY2026 performance as &ldquo robust&rdquo , Seet highlights the 52.5% y-o-y increase in test cell solutions segment revenue to $180.9m, driven by the deployment of AEM test solutions for advanced AI/HPC applications. He notes that the fabless AI/HPC customer is now the largest revenue contributor for AEM. Seet believes AEM is &ldquo well positioned&rdquo to broaden its customer base and expand its revenue streams, which could drive profitability to new highs. According to him, AEM is still in talks with other new customers, and its strategic partnership with ASE Technology Holding could open up additional opportunities. The analyst believes AEM offers a compelling multi‑ year growth story. He has raised his FY2026/2027 earnings forecasts by 28.7% and 17.8% respectively and values the counter at $13.50 or 40 times FY2027 estimated P/E. |

AEM shares jump 7.9% after H1 profit rises 10 times [SINGAPORE] Shares of AEM : AWX 0% jumped as much as 7.9 per cent on Thursday (Aug 13) after the semiconductor test-equipment maker recorded a strong first-half profit the prior day. Its net profit of S$31 million was 10 times higher than the S$3.1 million in the first half of 2025, on the back of stronger demand for its test equipment from artificial intelligence chipmakers. The growth was driven by the company&rsquo s fabless AI and high performance computing customer, which became its largest contributor for the half year as production ramped up, said AEM. In response, the counter rose as high as S$10.39 on Thursday, adding S$0.76 from its Wednesday closing price. Nearly 2.4 million securities changed hands. AEM has extended its net profit growth streak to a fourth quarter, with a third consecutive quarter of revenue growth &ndash led by its test-cell solutions segment. |

1H 2026: 4 Billionaire SGX Stocks Delivered 100% Returns (or More!)The STI rose 13% in 1H 2026, but AEM, UMS, Nanofilm and Frencken surged over 100%. Discover what&rsquo s driving Singapore&rsquo s semiconductor rally.
he SPDR STI ETF (SGX: ES3), which tracks Singapore&rsquo s Straits Times Index (SGX: ^STI), returned 13.1% in the first half of 2026.  That&rsquo s a solid performance for the first six months of the year.  But four billion-dollar stocks made it look ordinary. AEM Holdings (SGX: AWX) delivered returns of 512% over the same period.  Meanwhile, the trio of UMS Integration (SGX: 558), Nanofilm Technologies (SGX: MZH), and Frencken Group (SGX: E28) returned 132%, 113%, and 106%, respectively.  All four sit outside the STI&rsquo s 30 constituents, yet they left the index far behind. One theme connects them.  Each is tied to the semiconductor cycle, and the market spent the first half of 2026 repricing that exposure. Which company had the clearest recovery?AEM Holdings makes semiconductor test and handling equipment. The firm&rsquo s first quarter gave the market the most to work with. For starters, revenue rose 35.8% year on year to S$116.9 million.  Net profit surged 329.4% to S$14.3 million, and net profit margin widened to 12.3% from 3.9% a year ago.  The Test Cell Solutions segment did the heavy lifting, growing 72.0% to S$88.1 million and making up three-quarters of group revenue.  Growth came from a high-volume production ramp for AEM&rsquo s fabless AI/HPC customer. Management then raised its 2026 revenue guidance by around 20%, to a range of S$550 million to S$600 million.  That implies growth of 38% to 50% for the full year.  The fabless AI/HPC customer is on track to become AEM&rsquo s largest revenue contributor this year. The group held cash of S$72.9 million against borrowings of S$16.4 million at end-March, a net cash position of S$56.5 million.  No dividend was declared for the quarter.  For 2025, AEM had reinstated its dividend at S$0.013 per share. When earnings more than quadruple and guidance goes up, investors tend to rethink what a business is worth.  AEM gave them reason to. 1H 2026: 4 Billionaire SGX Stocks Delivered 100% Returns (or More!)   |

as usual, DYODD..
The five analysts covering AEM Holdings are now predicting revenues of S$589m in 2026. If met, this would reflect a substantial 47% improvement in sales compared to the last 12 months. Statutory earnings per share are presumed to jump 295% to S$0.21. Before this latest update, the analysts had been forecasting revenues of S$509m and earnings per share (EPS) of S$0.13 in 2026. There has definitely been an improvement in perception recently, with the analysts substantially increasing both their earnings and revenue estimates. With these upgrades, we' re not surprised to see that the analysts have lifted their price target 77% to S$13.25 per share. Taking a look at the bigger picture now, one of the ways we can understand these forecasts is to see how they compare to both past performance and industry growth estimates. One thing stands out from these estimates, which is that AEM Holdings is forecast to grow faster in the future than it has in the past, with revenues expected to display 47% annualised growth until the end of 2026. If achieved, this would be a much better result than the 9.7% annual decline over the past five years. By contrast, our data suggests that other companies (with analyst coverage) in the industry are forecast to see their revenue grow 25% per year. So it looks like AEM Holdings is expected to grow faster than its competitors, at least for a while. |

Why the dimissed Advantest legal case bodes well for AEM? Fr DBS : Prolonged litigation could raise legal costs, though near-term impact appears limited. While AEM&rsquo s confident response and reaffirmed guidance signal operational stability, a drawn-out legal process could add to legal expenses and weigh on margins. The company&rsquo s financials from FY21&ndash FY23 reflected elevated legal fees due to prior arbitration, suggesting that extended proceedings could again impact profitability. AEM recorded legal and professional fees amounting to SGD11.1mn/27.0mn/9.0mn in FY21/22/23 vs SGD5.1mn in FY20 and SGD9.2mn in FY24. While it remains too early to gauge the duration or cost impact of the case, we continue to monitor for signs of escalation.

AEM says US court has dismissed Advantest&rsquo s patent infringement complaint
[SINGAPORE] AEM Holdings : AWX -8.04% on Thursday (Jul 2) announced that a US court has dismissed a patent infringement complaint filed against the company and its subsidiaries by Advantest Test Solutions.
In an order dated Jun 29, the US District Court for the Southern District of California ruled that California-based semiconductor firm Advantest failed to adequately plead direct or indirect patent infringement.
The dispute centred on allegations that AEM subsidiaries AEM Singapore and AEM Americas infringed two US patents held by Advantest. The patents cover precision temperature-control hardware used during semiconductor testing to identify defective chips early, thereby improving manufacturing yields and reducing waste.
According to AEM, the court stated that it is insufficient for Advantest to allege infringing acts based solely on the existence of AEM&rsquo s own patent applications.
While the court dismissed the complaint, which was originally filed in October 2025, it granted Advantest leave to file an amended complaint.
AEM stated that it does not expect the court&rsquo s ruling to have any material impact on its business operations or financial position. The company added that it will continue to evaluate further filings on the matter, and that it is prepared to &ldquo vigorously defend its own issued patents and intellectual property, if necessary&rdquo .
The company in October denied the allegations, but its share price took an 8.8 per cent hit on the day the complaint was disclosed. AEM said then that it does not practice the wafer level test system in question, and that the complaints &ldquo lack merit&rdquo .
This comes after AEM and Advantest were previously involved in an arbitration case that led to a settlement in 2023. That agreement involved AEM making two payments worth US$9 million and US$11 million to Advantest.
Shares of AEM were down 6.8 per cent or S$0.74 at S$10.20 on Thursday at the midday trading break, before the news.
