This year.....no China play? Noticed some of the penny stocks ( S chips ) are trading near rock bottom or at rock bottom price. Eg China Sport, Chinese Global with a couple eg China Env and China Sky - suspended. | ||||

after hearing the chatter here and also reading some of the articles on NextInsight, finally spent my time to do some homework on the company. quite frankly, if you studied their 1HFY16 PPT, results announcement and press release, there were a lot of information being shared. 1) probably one of the most transparent property companies around on SGX - even including the revenue booked, presales received and presales pending collection. the presales will essentially reflect the revenue to be booked going forward (RMB5.7bil currently under liabilities which will eventually be booked as revenue) 2) apart from that on the property development front, there was also the recurring income arm that is focused on educational assets and fund management. an interesting way to recycle the capital and tap on the abundance of liquidity in Chinese market with their fund management business. 3) debt profile breakdown on the PPT - the development debt will be self-taken care of when the projects finish sales and are handed over. important to understand that Chiwayland is afterall a pure property developer at this point and is normal to use debt to fund their project developments rather than using equity. |
