Income: Though mobile telecom revenue is largely flat and fixed services (fiber) is rising, handset sales fell ~33% from 2015 to 2016. M1 needs to figure out better ways to create more attractive value propositions in its handset segment. Cashflow: Growth in operating cashflow barely enough to cover cash used in financing/investing activities, though they' ve done well by choosing to cut dividend. Free cashflow is dwindling ($30.4m as of 1H2017, cash & equivalents at $6.1m). With operating cashflow at $108.2m in 1H2017, looks like FY2017 operating cashflow is on track to trail 2016, putting more strain on cashflows. Balance Sheet: Borrowings are creeping up ($390m in 2016 to $426.6m in 1H2017), leading to higher financing costs going forward. ARPU: Postpaid and Fiber ARPUs are falling ($58 to 48.5, $45.1 to $43). M1 needs to find ways to upsell and extract more value from existing customers. I don' t expect M1 to be able to gain more market share in the postpaid and fiber segment (the latter due to other incumbents) Taking 1H2017 EPS as a baseline, at current price ($1.90) forward P/E for FY2017 is about 12.8x, which is still not exactly cheap. So now reducing profit is actually reacting to the 4th telco. All existing telco tried to secure as much solid ground as possible, so as to make  the 4th telco give up fighting the war. As  for MyRepublic, it has it own problem. When MyRepublic said not consider to buy M1.
