I thk CDG is over sold .....they are doing something/ the cut is rentail of course wil and cld NEVER b too deep. As CDG has to be profitable. GRAB and Uber is bleeding....as least we know Uber is in DEEP shit. How long can they conitnue bleeding . No matter how deep is your pocket....the investor are not stupid. Further CDG do have other source of income to help out. Yes, taxi is their main income, but I really dont think its all the bad as what some report wish us to believe. ANyway, coming qtr result and their plan forward might present light to this tunnel.

ComfortDelGro really need to think out from the box for more innovative idea how to attract more driver and passengers . Your biz which is time for you to grab it or throw it divert towards others biz. The more you drag the more your reputation will gone. If they keep playing waiting game and monitor see for react. Shareholders will loss confidence. |

Many of these private cabies of Uber are so horrible to ride, mostly smelling of cigarette smel and the drivers so unprofessional. No comparison with the professional Comfort cabs

Yes....there is a AGE limit on Comfort....I think is 35. But Grab and Uber is 18/21...not sure......WAIT FOR THIS LTA TO LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD>

0524 GMT - Subsidized fares by ride-hailing firms in Singapore look unsustainable, says Daiwa. Uber and Grab have recently launched aggressive promotions, raising fresh concerns about competition in the taxi market there. It' s still unclear to Daiwa whether drivers at transport companies such as ComfortDelGro (C52.SG) are making a switch to Grab or Uber. Grab could be spending upwards of S$1 million ($700,000) daily on fare subsidies, the investment bank says. Dont know if deceased passenger got insurance coverage or not. Better buy more PA insurance for taking private taxi. Driver generally young, maybe PR students on partime. Inmature driver. Taxi is still safer. Mininum age 35 yrs, px full coverage. I think the px that were killed in uber accident at eng new rd has no coverage. this was what I heard. maybe wrong. check it out b4 for insurance coverage b4 booking . just wrote my quiry yesterday n it happen today. If got 38$ rental for new car inclusive of boths insurance for car + passengers. Appreciate your tips for that. Will scrap my old car n go the the cheaper tan chia car rental. just to drive to cover costs, the rest of the time is mine to drive fm tuas to airport at first gear all the way. |

Yes...$38 after rebates...according to one 60 years old driver his car only 1 week old...he co share with his frenz...so less than $20 per day...his.petrol Cost around $28 think per hour petrol around $5....6months contracts....after 6 months..return and sign new car again...
Meet another platnium grab driver...he say grab and comfort taxi same cost if i40 only $79 per day...but grab got lots of jobs and jobs find u not u find jobs....make a.diff...his petrol is $70 per day .earning more than 5k..anyone.know how much to hit platnium as driver??

I am still waiting for rental car price to drop futher. U mean can find 38$ for renting a mazda? is the 38$ incl car insurance plus insurance for passenger? is so, the rental company wl run into losses. if really 38$ incl incl insurance + passenger insurance, im keen to rent for 6 mths contract. that is cheap Comfort can get jobs thru uber apps too. cant cope with that kind of stress. dont need that much earning, just too drive to meet people. |

Do u know lots of comfort drivers also accept grabtaxi jobs......but they are not allow.to join justgrab even they wan to...so best.is join those taxi companiea with justgrab...can do taxi.grab taxi and just grab..... | ||||
