MAS' objective is to protect the bank so that they don' t close, MAS' job is not to protect the banks' shareholders. Can the banks really take these kind of hit? Stress test my arse. There' s no such things. Practically, every dollar you  deposit there, 60% goes to loan 25% goes to expenses and the remaining 15% is held in cash.
