In New Zealand, birds are poisoned by farmers, because nobody would buy apples with holes Natural history as in dead birds piled bellow apple trees... In Singapore there is a fine imposed for feeding the piegeons And I always wonder,,,why nobody would catch them for free meat since the price of food goes up
