That how shitty sgx is, yzj alrdy break 2007 record with expected another 1b new orders incoming. Book would hit 6.5b way way higher than anytime it was listed. But look at the stock price, shitty cos listed in sgx. No matter how much yzj management try to boost investor values, as long it listed in sgx we don see real value. Best is just let china SWF privatized it at it real value, save lot of us heartaches lol. |

Even news pop would not move yzj much, blame on sgx listing low valuation plus sg go back to p2. but when we finally get through to Aug when sg released from lockdown and vaccination hit 65% full vaccination we see boost to 1.5x range. If we lucky enough more people go for jab during cb, might hit 90% rate with at least 1 jab. |

To be exact USD1.05 Bn. Me very long no appear. Because laptop spoiled. Can' t get replacement (out of stock) due to shortage of chips. I borrow other' s laptop to post this because excited to share this news. |

Don count on any rally, sg back to phrase2, market follow virus outbreak trend, had to wait for current outbreak to die off in August. Wanna blame , blame illegal KTV operator and fish port handlers for starting latest outbreak. | ||||

At 8-9x PE, 0.75x book, 3.3% dividend yield and 21% upside to consensus target price of $1.64, we maintain our &ldquo Accumulate&rdquo raƟ ng on YZJ, especially with the stock having pulled back from its recent high of $1.55/share. |

CIMB or some analyst said that YZJ budgeted for steel at 5,000 - 5,500 RMB a tonne? Now its at 5,400 but should not be end of the world. Pre-Covid steel was hovering around 4,000 RMB a tonne so it' s a big jump but should not be fatal. Moreover they probably have clauses in place to pass on rising steel costs to 2021 customers. Need to see their crucial Q2 results to see how well they managing costs. |

From DBS YANGZIJIANG SHIPBUILDING Yangzijiang acquires remaining 20% stake in Xinfu yard for consideration of Rmb650m, to be fully funded by 100m treasury shares @ S$1.37/shareValuation seems attractive and accretive at 0.7x FY20 P/Bv and 4.1x FY20 PE against Group& rsquo s undemanding valuation of 0.8x P/Bv and 10.5x PEBased on ballpark estimate, the acquisition will increase FY21-23 EPS by 2-4% and BVPS by ~1%. The acquisition is timely. Xinfu is the key yard that construct most of the Group& rsquo s mega containerships. Earnings are expected to grow in double digit for the next 3-years. Reiterate our BUY call on Yangzijiang TP S$1.80.
