I hope URA is already starting to plan for emptying lots especially in the city area when autonomous becomes mainstream. Office buildings would probably require a much bigger pickup bay - maybe they could designate one part of the parking lot as a pick up point. Just imagine instead of paying $5-10 per hour at top rated carparks, these cars would be out and about making money for their owners. And when that happens, car ownership will probably no longer be seen as a liability but an asset. Wonder how banks will look at car loans then but I' d expect COEs to shoot thru the roof and fares  to drop to the bottom of the ocean.
