It was announced last night that Intel is preparing for a $100 billion spending spree across four US states to build and expand factories after securing $19.5 billion in federal grants and loans - and hopes to secure another $25 billion in tax breaks. I guess this is a positive early sign for AEM' s long-term outlook? | ||

Easier to make the lower ranking staff members redundant. Very difficult to see the management taking the same actions on those who are responsible for the arbitration settlement of USD20 million over the purchase of Lattice.  The issues could be spotted through comprehensive due diligence of the acquisiton. Also, the inventory shortfall... which was also attributed to system migration, EPS, wrong input ... Meanwhile the Co just chanted the motherhoold statement of Transparency, Governance and Accountability.. Still waiting to see the Co actions on these besides the dismal sales. |

Please refrain from investment for the time being this stock is dangerous. The company recently underwent significant retrenchment, laying off many employees on March 13th.  particularly those in lower-level positions. | ||

Interesting, the Co could consider seeking legal advice on the feasibility of recovering its arbitration payment of USD20 million on the acquisiton of Lattice from third parites (advisors, due diligence agents, etc) if there were possible causes. Every cent counts for the co and shareholers and this is better than issuing gimmicky bonus share of 1:100.  Do the thing that enhances shareholders values and not the no value added proposal to issue 1:100 bonus share to the detriment of the retail investors. |

As far as I can tell, the bonus share issue is still on.  Only the senior management will not get any bonus, not related to the bonus share issue for shareholders.. Loke Wai San added, &ldquo In terms of accountability, the management team has offered to forego all bonuses for Senior Management, thereby reducing their annual cash compensation by as much as 50%. The Board appreciates and supports the management&rsquo s decision. |

This bonus share 1:100 is negative for the small retail investors. Co awards bonus issue when it is showing strong profit and growth and its share price has gone up significantly.. Not in this case, when the co made errors, resulting in losses and share price keeps tanking daily. Co should focus on restoring confidence in its management team becoming profitable and continuous growth and this would lead to appreciation of share price. So cut the gimmick and time wasting effort of 1:100 bonus share issue just like its USD denominated share.  Focus on its business, profitability and growth.. Also walk its talk on Transparency, Accountability and Governance...  |

Also, not to distract and to disadvantage retail shareholders, the ill conceived proposal of awarding the 1:100 should be scrapped.  Waste of time. There are two issues:  inventory overestimation and arbitration payment.. The independent review should also cover the arbitration payment. |
