Go take a look at their website, they make a bunch of other stuff that&rsquo s unrelated to the virus 2) you all fail to understand that this bump in earnings (if any) is transitory, not permanent. The right way to think abt it is to figure out how much extra profits the company will earn because of corona, and add it to the market value, instead of assuming that earnings will be perpetually bumped up. So let us do some simple math for sanity check. Fy18 gross profits is $10m usd, or ~$13m sgd. let&rsquo s give Medtecs lots of leeway, and say that they can sell 2x revenue (as suggested by some forumer earlier). We assume gross margin remains the same (since cogs is largely variable), then that shld add $13m to market cap, which translates to $0.024 per share. I am cutting them lots of slack already, by assuming doubling of gross profits (which I do not even believe will happen), and assuming there is 0 other ancillary costs to achieving that doubling of gross profits. Share px has gone up $0.15, or an increase in $82m in market value. just this simple sanity check will tell u this is all speculation, ppl taking advantage of the narrative and fear to buy the stock, not for investment purposes, but for selling to the next greater fool who is seduced into it. U can go ahead and play this game, but please do not call this investing, and also please do not be the last man left holding on to this, with nobody else to sell to
