IT the safest bet but a inclusion of debt in final NOL sale bid would make it possible for Temasek to let go. SInce both parties look like don wanna break up the supply chain of APL, they would reach a compromise where a  huge premium would be paid over market capitalisation on basic of mark to market valuation of it port terminals. THe key jewel of the whole NOL sale lie in it supply chain aka port terminals and railway , those things can sell for ridiculous amount of money in today QE inflated market. Question is how big is the premium over market capitalisation that all, taken into consideration the new owner get valuable   port terminal and rail portfolio which they could later sell off separately for fat profit. Key sticking point that is.

It seems that it is high probable that CMA will offer, and base on the exclusive talk with CMA, it is also possible that Tamasek has accepted the price, and CMA is doing it' s due diligent and trying to secure the loan which seems to be very positive now. The main question is what is the offer price? If the negotiation break down, what is the price that it' ll drop to? With the current market sentiment, will CMA really offer above $1.3, if the negotiation breaks down, will it really drop below $1 knowning that Maerks will most probably come in to bid (but the offer will most likely be slightly higher than CMA' s price) which will buffer the drop. i guess the current price could stay at it' s current range until there are further news being leaked out ... Just my view
