Core shipbuilding margin was 14% in 1H2021 as compared to 16% in 1H2020, due to rising raw material costs and strengthening of RMB against USD. CIMB analyst was predicting lower: " Lim estimates gross margins for shipbuilding in the quarter to be lower at 12% to 13% compared to the 15.9% posed in the 1QFY2021. This, she explains, is given the 19% q-o-q rise in steel prices." 3. NAV increase from 8.40 to 8.61 RMB (S$1.80). Yet share price only at $1.44 4. Very positive outlook: More incoming orders, freight rates still holding strong, increase focus to LNG carriers

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Lol u only pick gross result, check below for net profit and margin. 39% surge in net profit and net profit margin skyrock from 14% to 29%. Though revenue go down 20% due to less ships delivered. Ah yang very smart, steel price  high just delayed deliveries loh margin high enough to offset it. They not dumb to stick to fixed deliveries, flexible on raw material movement. 2H would be great as china gov stabilise steel prices and more deliveries expected to make up for shortfall this half year meaning higher net profit. We should see YZJ begin it steady ascend to 1.8 TP as seen from 1Q trend.
