similar to couple of weeks back when GA was dropped from MSCI Global Cap Index to Small Cap index, there was strong selling pressure, particularly from the index funds due to rebalancing. given that GA is being dropped from STI, to take effect after market this Friday, we may perhaps see more selling pressure from these index funds till then. hopefully that will lift the overhang for the stock to catch up in rerating as seen with peers such as first resources and bumitama | ||||

Despite that all objective factors have turned positive, the share price of this counter remains depressed. The main reason is because of BBs' play. They will buy at a particular price and then put them on sale at the same price the next moment to create fear. The sale quantity will grow from small to big to lure the small players to buy at the price they sell at first but end up selling lower to them out of fear when they see the sell queue becomes bigger and bigger. Because the BBs play at large volume, one pip difference already can make them huge profits.
