In this country, a lot of times we read very bland reports n writeups, very often CAP (copy n paste), so much so that u sometimes wonder what u are reading is accurate and/or authoritative (other than being tediously boring). In this particular link to the report on Vard, u read the headline n think wah , finally. But when u drill down to the details .... yaks .... where' s the investigation. There was a query which appears to have been very prompt. But that' s abt it. When a share suddenly plunges seemingly out of the blue u think it' s like drinking coffee every day or what. But this has been happening more n more often these days n people who do it get bolder n bolder as time goes by cos what they see is seemingly inertia from the regulator. No wonder stocks here have been plunging n plunging seemingly unchecked n almost unabated for abt the last three months continuously. Then we make excuses that it' s due to the Fed, the rmb, Greece, falling oil prices ..... But after the nervousness associated with these events have blown over n shares recoveredr/stabilised in other financial centres, we continue to be an incurable nervous wreck here. Why are we in denial mode all the time? How long we can survive this I don' t know, but it certainly doesn' t seem good for this country.

The beautiful thing abt this stock (n some other spore stocks too) is that it can tahan relatively well even as others collapse. But out of a sudden every one seem to appear from nowhere, as if controlled by some telepathic levitational force, to perform a gang rape.

Bro, it is sophisticated fishing veseels and not sampan fishing boat. Don' t look down on fishing vessels. Fishing is also a very huge industry. Actually this shows their versatility. Not a bad thing really.

VARD SECURES CONTRACT FOR ONE COASTAL FISHING VESSEL FOR BREIVIK AS Singapore, 13 August 2015 &ndash Vard Holdings Limited (" VARD" ), one of the major global designers and shipbuilders of offshore and specialized vessels, is pleased to announce that it has secured a contract for the construction of one coastal fishing vessel for Breivik AS of Norway. The vessel is scheduled for delivery from Vard Braila in Romania in 3Q 2016, securing work for the yard in all stages of production. The value of the contract is approximately NOK 60 million. The vessel is of the well proven Seacon SC34 design, and is equipped with a factory and freezing plant.
