Not hopeless nor tricky at all. The warrants will be given to you FOC. You can convert them to mother shares at that price anytime within the 5 years. If you do not wish to convert (especially if mother share price is below conversion price), you can sell the warrants in the open market. That way, you get money from your free warrants without paying a single cent. The warrants will be listed in SGX as per TG's reply to your queries. Once listed, you can buy/sell warrants just like you buy/sell TG's shares.

Hi Bro, any reason why you sold at 36.5 on 4/12/24 and took some profits, but you hope to buy back at 38.0 by this coming Friday? Is it becoz you didn' t anticipate that the SP will go up above 36.5 earlier and now above 40.0?

Dear Mr Ovywind
Good Evening! Sorry for the late response to your earlier email.
Bonus warrant are free warrants given to shareholder on the basis of 1 warrant for every 20 shares held. In your case, you hold xx TG shares, you will entitle for 32,500 warrants. Each warrant can convert to TG mother share at RM1.27 per warrant, within the 5 years period upon issuance, which is targeted to be in mid Jan 2025.
The warrants wl be listed in Bursa and SGX, and can be sold in the market if shareholder do not wish to keep it for conversion to mother share.

Rights, you subscride, if successful, shares will be credited into your CDP account. Warrant given to you will expired, usually within few years. You just exercise anytime before expiry in order to convert into share. |
