 Alert Admin 		When u see price go up before earnings release means smart money are selling to run. Usually if there is good news smart money will push down to collect prior to earnings release.. genting ran up quite high prior to earnings.. this is a trick smart money use to move prices around.

Well Singapore auntie and uncle care about nothing but themselves. First chance they get, they will migrate.  But, PRC are different - they are very highly nationalistic, despite their love for moolah.  If Trump gets worse with his Trade War talk and actions - they will avoid USA casinos.  Why help the people that want to punish you with tariffs?  I think the increasing VIP market share for GENS vs MBS is already reflecting this.  It will only get worse for MBS over time.

​ Same for Japan casinos.  They will rely a lot on PRC gamblers.  If the PRC gamblers start to avoid USA casinos in Macau and Sing - it only makes sense for Japan to only give one USA casino a licence (Sands likely because of Singapore familiarity with casino curbs)  - for face - and then give ther other two to PRC and SEA Casino operators, ie Melco and GENS perhaps.  Crown was probably a contender - but now the Packer man has shut himself up in Australia - so no more in the running.

Both BT and ST report net profit up 24%. And market share has grown vis-a-vis MBS. Think the PRC avoiding USA casino may be happening now.. due to Trump anti PRC talk.
