NOL have 3 large potential to play out:
- Shipping Recovery is near (Oil Price is not at ridiculously high level, as compared in past 4 years) - The Combined Value of NOL will be higher (* if NOL Mgmt heed my advise & sell 40% APL Logistics as ipo shares. Each NOL holder should receive APL stock. If this happen, combined value should likely be around $1.50) - Continued Restructuring in NOL + Low Oil Price will contribute positively for Year 2015. |

Though there are flaws in OCBC analysis, I hope OCBC had learnt its lesson in this share buyback.
I had to give a fair view (Global Environment had changed) despite the difference. |

In additional, OCBC bought its own shares. Resistant of $10.20 had been broken. *No further view on OCBC as global environment had changed.

Analysis on SGX Market:
18 Dec- SGX Market turned green. Prospective of shipping & airline are on the board again. Oil Price rebounded ease the fear of majority traders - SGX turned green. Majority of traders are scouring for cheap stocks- whether their bets in Oil & Gas/ Shipping or Airlines/ Other stocks. SGX had regains its business as usual as fear subsides.

18 Dec- Oil Price is stabilizing & rebounded. Crude Oil (WTI): USD56.56/bbl Crude Oil (Brent): USD61.38/bbl If the momentum persist, we can see oil price stabilizing around USD56 to 61 level for Crude Oil (WTI) for 1 to 2 weeks. Further Oil price fluctuation will depend on USA shale vs OPEC strategies. |

Oil had been set at an unrealistic price by OPEC in past 4 years. Recent drop in oil price acts as a balance to global shippers & airlines that had been facing hardship in past 4 years.
Oil price will not be able to be manipulated by OPEC by their production strategy as: 1) Rising of a new competitor (USA Shale Oil) 2) Rewable Energy are catching up on Global Warming Concerns OPEC do not want to lose market share, as oil consumer can switch to Shale Oil as alternative. This global oil rebalancing will see the rise of shipping industry (NOL ranked 10th biggest Container Shipping) in 2015. |
