Container vessels are oversupply. export growth is just merely 2-3% but the container vessels growth are 9-10% every year. Maersk shipping cut head and cost. Global financing is tightened. Not only keppel and sembmar are facing order cancellation. It also include those shipyards building the merchant vessel like YZJ. So the fear spread through the whole ship and rig building market about shipowner default and affect payment and delivery of the vessels. Rigs owners in pain, container vessels owners too. especially the oil price is low, vessels not longer running at low streaming. A lot of vessels are going to running out of jobs, no jobs, no money, banks don' t finance the loan, cancellation kick in. shipyards vomit out all the previous recorded revenue.
