This is a good one by Wolverine23 reposted from the TG forum. It is also true for all glove counters... With the current covid19 wave 2/3 hitting, this medical bull could last way beyond end 2020. ST talks about potentailly beyond 2021. With the rich countries already pre-booked most vaccine (eventhough not fully tested), the poorer countries need to wait... meantime, more people need gloves. In last 18 days, the infected cases jumped 40% by 3m more cases and is multiplying. I have noticed that most analysts covered nicely on past quarters volume and margin improvement. Another interesting angle is to look at the potential demand jump for the coming 6-9 months. The jump could be quite scary and this will translate to a further huge volume increase for all glover suppliers. If TG profit can jump 5x in 1 quarter, what does it mean if this quarterly trend continues may be not by 5x but how about just keep doubling as a result of the cases jumping exponentially in the coming 2-3 quarters? As mentioned by a few folks in the past, the barrier of entry is high for medical glove production. So production volume could hit a constraint as not many new players can enter, then demand / supply will push the selling price even higher. Hence the probability that the glove suppliers still have much upside with their volume and also their margin in the next 2-3 quarters is quite high. Despite hitting the $4 TP, I am still holding and adding. Am not yet convinced the glove counter price has peaked... just one opmistic view. In 2020, Medical Bull babies first came in the form of Medtecs, UG in Jan 2020. Big price spikes which only sustained for a while before crashing. Many profited and even more lost big time. Despite the virus worsening, most did not believe in a most logical way to invest : i.e. invest in companies which will benefit from the virus outbreak. After this initial collapse of medical bull prices, these poor bulls were treated as deformities and left to languish by most, except for a minority who believed in them. New bulls spirits were delivered into Biolidics and Clearbridge who were massively aggressive and came in with a vengeance. Once again, they were slaughtered within days. Left to die. Once again, the whole world refused to believe in the simple logic that investing in Medical Bulls is correct except for a minority. However, they injected pure Bull essence into other Medical Bulls. Medtecs, UG, Hypens, IX, SeD, Trendlines, Biolidics, Clearbridge, Healthway, Q& M, and many others. Slowly, one by one, these Medical Bulls grew stronger and were no longer babies and became outstanding Bulls. A few of them (like UG, Medtecs, SeD) outshone the others and they had not even reached their full potential! These Bull essence even spilled over to other non-medical pennies& hellip Suddenly, more people took noticed and even started to believe. Even research houses started writing bullish reports. A Circle of Positivity was cast over SGX. When there is such huge aura of positive energy, the Bull feeds on it and develops immensely. Very soon, targets like $3.88 for Medtecs & UG will become normal. These stocks will go to $2 and maybe Top Glove will even hit $20 just like Chartered. Other Medical Bulls will all aim for $0.6 to $1.1. Eventually all will join in. This will last till end of 2020. YOU decide how you want this to end. Wolverine23 |

Riverstone stk price should shot north when the financial report is out 2moro...Malayia' s Hartalega reports a profit of 2.3 times as compared to previous year qtr...just an indication of the significant profit these gloves companies are making...imo

In today' s Business Times (top 10 institutions net buy), Institutions bought $7m Riverstone last week and this was among the top 10 buy. This is a very strong show of confidence by the big boys. Basing on last week' s rough average price of $3.2-$3.8, their expectation definately is much more than $4. All the signs for a strong TP upgrade coming soon. :) | ||||

I sense CIMB or UOB might be upgrading Riverstone target price to beyond $4 before the results comes out. Just my sense - don' t get too excited.
