In Aug 2020, sci demerged with SCM, cutting off a huge liability In Sep, SCI signs multi yr renewable energy deal with google. We can expect a set of good reults at the next reporting for SCI. Because failure to do so will lead to its kickout from STI due to lower valuation of company requirement, by the STI Index parameters. That will lead to a selloff by some big Foreign Institutions, who may only be able to invest in it if included in STI Index.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	SEMBCORP Industries has signed a multi-year renewable energy deal to provide a total energy solution to tech giant Google, with a focus on locally-sourced renewable power to support Google Singapore' s operations. The deal is part of Google' s goal for its data centres to run entirely on carbon-free electricity by 2030, it said in a press  statement on Tuesday. It added that the Sembcorp deal is its first renewable energy deal in South-east Asia. The deal includes energy generated from  rooftop solar installations of close to 500 public housing flats. Under a collaboration with Sembcorp' s power retail arm, Sembcorp Power, and its solar development arm, Sembcorp Solar, the solar power generated from the rooftop installations will go directly into the electricity supply of Google operations, the tech company said. You can have multiple trading accounts and sell stocks from anyone of it, regardless of which account you used to purchase the stocks, because what matters is your CDP, assuming you trade using cash.
