Exactly .. nothing to Cheong also la... and profit 2.8 m when cogent use to make 7.3 m in 3q17 weird leh so business drop? Profit is a given since already issued profit guidance.. disappointing

COSCO: Post Q1 2018 Net Profit Of S$2.8 Million.15 May 2018 17:17
The Group recorded net profit attributable to equity holders of $2.8 million for Q1 2018 as compared to a loss of $78.9 million for Q1 2017. In Q1 2018, the Group transformed into one of Singapore' s leading logistics management service providers with the acquisition of 100% interest in the equity of Cogent Holdings Limited. Group turnover from continuing operations increased by 256.1% to $40.6 million for Q1 2018 as compared to Q1 2017 mainly due to turnover of $32.1 million from newly acquired logistics businesses. Turnover from shipping revenue decreased owing to a reduced fleet of 3 bulk carriers. The increase in cost of sales, distribution, administrative and finance expenses were mainly due to the newly acquired logistics businesses... |

very misleading financial statement. Cogent YOY report should be put up for comparison to see the performance on that part of business. The way the fianancial report is presented is meaningless. It' s comparing apple (Cosco previous biz) with orange (Gogent' s biz). This financial statement just show people that, well, Cosco has bought over cogent, it did not tell us if the biz improve or not.

Lol results already priced in since they announced profit guidance but still market has no reaction means this is fair value as seen by super sideway trading for past 3 weeks. Overall market is even worse with dwindling volumes and capital outflow from Singapore stocks big plunge coming
