Oceanus major business model restructure Post Reply Rate topic

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Thank you.  I am not sure that it is currently priced in that Oceanus will not exit the watchlist.  My take is that investors who are impatient or intolerable of the uncertainty over the watchlist exit has all sold.  Only the longist and true investors of Oceanus remain.  That' s why we have seen a drop in short interest as well, given that there are fewer and fewer sellers. While the exit of watchlist might not cause the share price to spike immediately, I wholly believe the successful exit will mark a new chapter for Oceanus for a few reasons: Weight of SGX' s approval over their business viability Ability to welcome institutional investors Increase coverage by mutual funds and analysts Further Flexibility of Corporate Actions such as share conslidation or fund raising Overall, it would prepare Oceanus for the next level of corporate growth.  And with corporate growth, comes better earnings and (hopefully) increased share price and valuation. dontbeconned      ( Date: 01-Jun-2021 12:04) Posted: in my previous post, I specifically mentioned that if oceanus share price will not spike even it exits  the watch list. I think I was  wrong. Based on the price movements, the retail investors had  built in the proabability that oceanus may not exit watch ldue to  unforseen circumstances. This had increased their risk appetite.  The very fact the retail investors steadfastedly hold on to the investors with the dear lives despite many attempts were made to rule their emotions. There were no panic  selling. Only very moderate. I think barring any unforseen cicumtssances and co financi al position  remains status quo , 4 pillars intact, , , once oceanus exit the watch list, the price will spike sharply . No reason for SGx to query also.  Because the risk profile of the retail investors had increased substantially.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I would agree. My own guesstimate is that the IPA (in-principal approval) should come within the first half of this month.  It is taking an awfully long time for the IPA.  The clarity from SGX would be much appreciated by investors of Oceanus.

If you aim long term it should not worry, but for contra may be risky to fall back for another few days before moves up
