Minimise taxation based on market price and option price difference - Hence they activate the options, and keep the shares. This is what investor does. If we are confident of the trajectory of the stock, this 500 million is nothing in the bigger scheme of things.  If scenario 1 happens, price may drop. Remember I mentioned sideways trade between 0.002-0.004. What is the likelihood it will stay at 0.002? Unlikely for the long term. It may touch every now and then during these 2 weeks but I doubt it will go to the extent where retail investors can buy at that price. Most likely only the BB can get it at 0.002 due to panic selling by retail investors. Why won' t stay at this price of 0.002? Simple - CEO has to answer to our famous economist from London who plans to invest 10 million dollars. Don' t want to secure his confidence? I doubt so wor.  If scenario 2 happens, which is likely the case, this stock will just skyrocket more with a much stronger foundation.  You are in a bull now. You are doing fund management also (i.e. Premier Equity Fund). Will you just exercise your options now and sell immediately? Or knowing it is a bull, you see how high it can climb, then record it down as paper profit as well while marketing to your customer that their portfolio value is increasing?
