Have written in to the company yesterday evening on some queries pertaining to increasing shareholder value. But haven't heard from the company yet. The email is reproduced below for reference: (Start of email) I would like to seek further clarification regarding the Company?s response to Question 4 of the announcement. The question and answer is reproduced below for reference: Question 4: Given that the company?s share price has been trading below it?s net asset value for many years, do you think privatisation or share buybacks would be an appropriate way to unlock shareholder value? Company?s reply: In near future, the Company has no intention for privatisation and share buyback. However, referring to the Addendum to the Share Purchase Mandate dated 9 Apr 2021, the company indicated under section 2.2: Rationale for the Renewal of the Share Buyback Mandate that ?The Directors constantly seek to increase Shareholders? value and to improve, inter alia, the return on equity of the Group. A share buyback at the appropriate price level is one of the ways through which the return on equity of the Group may be enhanced.? In view of the statements above, may I clarify what is UOBKH?s stand regarding a Share Purchase Mandate? (I.e. if there is indeed an intention to perform share buybacks and if no, what are the other ways for UOBKH to increase Shareholders? value). x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I know of one previously listed company sell ipo at $1 and later privatize at $0.30.....real businessman.   Collect money from unsuspecting investors then buy back ownership at rock bottom price. I like this kind of under the radar stock, while people are fighting and tearing their hair over other high profile stocks, this one moving slowly and nicely. who care if the industry brokerage is getting lower. This one is increasing its profits by more than 100%each year through operations and smart investments, giving out more than half its profits. At the rate it is going, I am sure it will break through the impossible $1.70. Don' t forget the 9.5 cents dividends which is more than the two years pre Covid combined. Crazy yields. :)
