STI ended 47.02 pts or 1.45% lower last Fri 31 July 2015. And Terratech having no trade most of time for the past months. With this piece of news, Terratech suddenly comes alive  +0.004 (6.15%) & closed @ 0.069 amid panic selling from most of the counters.
Parents co. Tritech also expiencing panic selling in the early morning drop to low of 0.111. But this piece of news also lifted Tritech +0.001 (0.88%) & closed @ 0.115.
Its an impressive contract worth RMB240 million (approx. S$53.7 mil.), I say this is because its almost equivalent to 3 LTA contracts awarded to the engineering group & project duration is 365 days only as opposed to 3 yrs for LTA projects! This is not the first major milestone achieved by the Terratech Group as it came out in the announcement. I remember correctly in Oct. 2013 when Terratech Group was still under the wings of parent co. Tritech, Terratech already clinched its first significant sale contracts (or milestone) with 4 property developers in China. With a total value of RMB88.5 million (approx. S$17.95 mil.), these contracts has been delivered progressively commencing from mid-2014. The contracts are mainly sales of marble blocks & slabs, besides these Terratech also plans to sell aggregates from marble pieces which are broken blocks or lose fragments. Following the engagement of a 3rd party factory in Malaysia to process marble pieces into aggregates, expect sales to commence in mid-2015. Although Terratech also own crusher plant newly built within the quarry site, mainly to process marble chippings into ground calcium carbonate production. Collectively this should mark the next major milestone achieved by the Terratech Group & spark for a rebound in the coming weeks, provided STI also rebound ( already drop a lot last week) next week toward SG50! GCCP which is about the size or smaller than Terratech, GCCP @ 0.112 makes Terratech really a bargain @ 0.069.

AWARD OF A RMB240 MILLION DECORATION CONTRACT IN BEIJING, PRCThe Board of Directors (the Board) of Terratech Group Limited (the Group) wishes to announce that its subsidiary, Shaanxi Hengyu Architectural Interior Engineering Co., Ltd. (陕 西 恒 宇 建 筑 装 饰 工 程 有 限 公 司 ) ( Shaanxi Hengyu) had, on 28 July 2015, been awarded a RMB240 million (equivalent to approximately S$53.7 million based on an exchange rate of RMB4.47 : S$1.00 as at 28 July 2015） contract for the supply and installation decoration works for a property development project in Beijing Lido 10 (北 京 丽 都 10号 ) at 10 Jiangtai West Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, People&rsquo s Republic of China ( PRC) (the Contract). The main scope of works includes, inter alia, the supply, delivery, installation of marble and other decoration materials as per the designs by the developer. The commencement date of the Contract is in early September 2015 and the expected project duration is 365 days from the date of commencement. The defects liability period for the scope of work to be provided by Shaanxi Hengyu is one year after completion of the Contract. The award of the Contract represents the first major milestone achieved by the Group in its continuous effort to facilitate its current sales and marketing efforts for its marble products after acquiring Shaanxi Hengyu last year. None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Contract, save for their shareholdings in the Company.
