Do they think GEAR' s management n  Widjaja' s family    r stupid .... don' t know how much Golden Energy worth per share? Even KGI has a target price of $1.29 in March n it was before the additional 20% of BHP Mitsui coal mines. Definitely Golden is worth much more then this ... my estimate is $1.50/share! Further more this is a very well managed company with 3 different types of mines ...Thermal, Metallurgical & Gold mines. The forseeable busineses in these 3 sectors r very very good. The upcoming Q3 n Q4 results will be superb! Valuation of GEAR = 0.6401 x AUS$2.29 billion (or S$2.08 billion) + 0.625 x IDR 42.35 Trillion (or S$3.973 billion) = S$3.8145 billion  OR  $1.446 per share.  (If include Ravenstock + the smaller mines, maybe will add US$0.15 per share). Let' s see how much the offer will come to, if any.  (But due to energy security needs, I guess there is a premium offered unto GEAR by the Ang Mo countries).
