hahah seems like your friends arent that good in trading , why not cut loss ? ... buying long term seems weird too ..imo .. anw privatisation may happen soon , 1.45 should be fine if it happens , a liitle loss maybe ? ...cheers

SembMarine is loss making, this is a fact before results announcement. Those bought or pushed up, either on purpose to make others think there may be contracts win or merger news. Then results out, nothing good and selldown occurred. As usual. Unless there's more good news to come, especially on contracts (but market is not good for O&G) or if merger news come soon. Now global news on Covid 19 is not doing stock market any good. Tomorrow likely to be red everywhere, except healthcare, maybe will get some green. Hope Covid 19 will go away in April. Yes, SMM will go below $1 eventually. SCI will have to sell it to others, merge with Keppel Corp, etc. There is no way that SMM will go back to its glory days. Those are over. Oil demand will continue to drop as the world is going for clean energy. OPEC is trying very hard to maintain oil price such as cutting output. However, there is so much that they can do to curb falling demand.

One has to be very patient with SMM. I believe BBs have loads in their basket at $1.17 - $1.20. Wait for the run, maybe after the COVID 19. MDM. will not tolerate a continuing loss making corpoaration. So CEO has to work extremely hard or his head will roll. | ||||

Whatever sold down today is just about giving back what gain yesterday from the magical surge. I think, either some funds purposely pumo to dump ... Or is there really another major musical chair show coming? Today selling volume is not high and kind of surprise. Losses widened, no dividend, losses expected to continue into year 2020 (maybe beyond?). Perhaps we won't see beyond Year 2020 anymore. Lol.
