I will touch say stamford land, even though stamford land is not a good example due to its share price low activity and negative returns at times, at least i know they are backed by hotel assets in australia. You hold the shares, you know you hold some value of the hotel assets. Or say Roxy Pacific. Who are the ones who lost money ?? ) Jumbo is a good example of a company generationg ACTUAL CASH FLOW FROM ACTUAL BUSINESS. If you still cannot differentiate the difference. How people go fishing ? They use a worm as a bait. The worm costs 1 cent. You are the fish. You worth $5. You eat 1 cent you think you win 1 cent the sweet and the bait. They eat you. You lost $5 - 1 cent gain = you lost $4.99 Think about it. Not all listed companies can be invested.
