lol inexperienced and unknowledgeable in US market still want to play penny. Might as well go buy GME. Mr Vic will be kind to not teach you penny trading. If you have been reading this thread you should know that he doesn' t recommend pennies as they are high risk and speculative.
Only buy what you understand. If not you lose money, you also don' t know why. With a 27k loan and family financial situation, you sure you can tahan another loss? Best is buy ARK ETFs and cores like SQ & TSLA, which you didn' t include even though they grow well and are solid. Which makes me question if you are here to grow your wealth or to gamble?

Go back and read this thread history, got a lot of good sharings by Eagles. Even better if you can read from the start

Hi Victor,

This is rrrrrrr, a year 1 undergraduate student. I would like to humbly ask for some first-timer advice on starting a small portfolio. I have a capital of only about $4000-$5000 and my intention for investing is so that I am able to reap some returns to pay off my $27,000 university student loan in 2023. Prior to stocks, I invested in Sri Trang Agro but made a loss of about $500 last year. Ever since I did not attempt to invest due to the market' s uncertainties as well as my poor investing literacy.

I came across your forum thread and quickly saw how your name was amongst the most popular in ShareJunction. I also saw that you have helped many individuals with your amazing portfolio and track records. I am always shy to ask for help but I have seen your art of benevolence and sharing, hence, hoping to get some valuable advice from you as to where to start. The lack of capital is also due to my family' s financial situation where I was raised by a single-parent, my Dad, since I was 7, due to cancer and thereafter, the passing of my mom.

I did some research and identified a few industries that are of high potential which include, EV, Cannabis, BioTech, Zinc exploration and etc. However, with my low capital, what would you recommend me to invest in? Penny stocks?

congratulations on your crypto portfolio, if not for you and your recommendations on crypto, i would not have got into them, so thank you once again for this ' lobang'

just checked, my ETH portfolio is up about 68% in 3-4mths, quite amazing....but only small dollar value as most money still in stocks, slowly trying to increase crypto to 10% of my portfolio.

Tomorrow ' A' levels results will be out. My son would be collecting his results tomorro, expecting all As. I told him that if he cannot make it into NUS medicine, I might be able to send him overseas to fulfil his doctor dream. All thanks to your generous sharing. I was in a loss position is SGX and also in US stock (bought Boeing before the virus episode and it went south), Thanks to your generous sharing and advice, I have recouped my losses and is in the green now. Sometime i also miss my stock earng, cause got so many stock and 2 eyes,
like SHOP earing already reported then i knw,, LOL.. but i got confident in most of my stock,
if meet earing but told mkt theoir growth will slow,, so stock px drop a bit then recover,

The market corrections are necessary from time to time and should not be treated as something horrible or scary, or disastrous.

You should be ready and accepting that a market correction, is actually a good thing. But you need to be ready, prepared, and have a plan for work through the correction. that is buying cheap
stuff on discount,

Today i buy more MESA at 11.40.. this one i think i shr before,,mkt now recover, tonite i think likely green,
recover quite strong, indicate bull is taking a rest,

I am down just some 5%,, but up last nite by i think 18%,, so did i loss???
today buy wall st one stock only,,,, cause morning buy HK a lot already,

Just another road hump,, where got a driver nvr come across a road hump,, so in the mkt if u nvr come across a correction.
i think u must be sleeping, and if u scare of road hump ,, dont drive, wait yr car damage, if scare correction,, then dont invest, put yr money in the bank
and enjoy been poor...then what choice have u???
