x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Vallianz which has market in Middle East which are not cutting production (ie need vessel support to continue their production) produced a very decent profit statement.  Still it kanna hantam by Market. Maybe is DOW.  Maybe its Friday effect.  Maybe Market just gave up on O& G. Mgmt already warned of slow down and delay delivery.  Don' t expect pretty revenue next Q. Too much risk to touch this one now.

NCL results may not be as bad as other O& G counters but going forward, it will only get worse unless big oil coy increase capex and orders ship from NCL.  Do note that NCL' s strategy is BTS (build-to-stock), ie they build before getting any contract.  ie they incur building cost but got no contract to cover until they sell those ship.  This explain why both their inventories (cannot recognise as revenue as risk as not being transferred) and loan are ballooning. The environment when it was at 11cts then and ard 15-16cts now is very different. Net profit for Q1 of RM40mil dropped to Q2 of RM11mil to Q3 of only RM6k.  There are not new contract wins for the last two quarters till now.  NCL can only recognised revenue on their existing and remaining contract which is rapidly dwindling.  What revenue can we expect in Q4? Any investors who has studied NCL well will know that the prosepct of this coy is.  Good or bad is up to individual.  For me it is just bad and will get worse. So what can we look out for????  A sustainable rebound in oil price followed by sustainable increase oil demand followed by coy increase capex and most important of all NCL winning contracts! x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	NCL Q3 results is erhhhhh.....hmmm....hhmmmm with net profit of RM6k on revenue that is one-third the same Q last year. Inventories further increases to RM1.6bil with loan ballooned to RM1.9bil.  Expect a small portion to be supported by contract while most of are BTS (ie no contract support). Mgmt forewarned on slowed down in ship building slowed and delayed delivery schedule. RM275mil of MTN due this quarter.  Expect NCL to issue another MTN with slightly higher interest to cover this if there are still investor wiling to take risk in O& G sector. NCL needs to sell ship fast but in this environment, it will be tough.  So far still no contract.  Next Q results will be even worse. Share consolidation may be on the plate now.
