It is highly preposterous to adopt short sell as an investment strategy to make the market more dynamic when the outlook of the company is doing well. Obviously, if the company is performing badly with financial difficulties, then short selling or dumping would be appropriate for price stability and correction to reflect the market forces. Therefore I can safely conclude that short sellers in Singapore are absolutely dumb and blatantly stupid. | ||||

Bush Jr is dumb because he trusted his VP so much that he allowed the attack on Iraq which is the greatest scandal of the century, destroying a country because of the greed in their oil field. If Bush Jr is smarter, that war may not happened.

I am usually cool with forum, but I really think you are ill informed what Donald Trump had done to the Asian society in US that are causing all the hate crimes now. China Flu, Kong Flu, wanting to chase all the Chinese out of US... what else you think Donald Trump is not evil enough??

A POTUS track record will utimately be the judge eventually in the history books. Re-election? Look at the hanky panky going on in the recent election, and with the whole weight of the mass media (fake news, etc) and hollywood going against him, getting an election for anyone is an uphill battle. Well, I don' t see Trump falling into any of the above. In fact, his achievements tell me otherwise. A brash person does not mean he/she is evil. In truth, no one should judge another merely by following mass media news, or in the case of short sellers you criticized incensely merely by short-selling the market. You' re of course entitled to your own opinion and I sure can differ with your views with regards to naming a person ' evil' .

Man, you got to cool down a little. Short sellers are what make a dynamic stock market - they trade because they believe a stock price like Capitaland has downward movement in the short term which is perfectly legitimate, and this give rise to opportunities for investors with long term view to buy and hold. Donald Trump is no evil as well - he works hard for his own people and gets tyrant ruler like Kim Jong-un to go to the negotiating table for peace talks, wipe out ISIS in very quick time literally liberating Iraq, got a few Arab nations to recognise Israel in an effort to bring about peace in the middle east, brought wealth vis-a-vis US stock markets to many record highs, does not drink or smoke, and raise 4 kids who too are corp manchos and does not drink or smoke like him. He had done what no other POTUS before him can even come close. So how can he been seen by you and many others as evil??

Actually, imo for Capitaland, the prices to watch are in its stable of REITs, in particular the CapLand IntCom, if this stock move to higher platform, maybe like $2,30 -2.40 range .. it will ' enhance' the value of the restructuring offer. The restructuring will only complete in end year. Nearer the EGM, maybe third quarter, I am sure the mighty hands behind, will magically do something. | ||||

The persistent short selling at lower and lower prices is probably a fall out of Bill Hwang' s Archegos capital Hedgefund for fraud and mismanagement. A Class Action lawsuit against Archegos Capital for fraud is probably underway. | ||||

Unless one is a freaking moron, who will be in a sound mind to burn down your newly renovated 5-room executive top floor HDB, so as to sell below the market price and make 25% of losses excluding the interests paid for the loan.
