1) Shocked ! There will be NO INCOME for the mths of April, May and June. So,... DPU could be zero for the relevant quarters ? 2) A survey was done by an Aussie co. : After the pandemic, what would people do with regards to malls compared to pre-pandemic times ? a) 70% said no chg. They would continue to go as per the earlier frequency pre-pandemic. b) 13% said they will go more. c) 17% said they will go lesser. This group is worried abt they job security. |

real high unemployment numbers. real economic contraction. people are projecting economic recession etc will the market raise or crash. chartist like to say there is a second leg down base on pass experience. in reality no one really know. what happens depends on how things unfold. fact. the virus has created new business. more mredical realated materials and services. used up the buffer of things during lock down. when lock down is open. there will be requirement for social distancing. that will create a shortage on certain services. like transport. like limit number of people in bus and train. one will see the shortage. central banks has push lots of money into the market. some who do not need it will invest or gamble it for bigger amount to be useful. therefore it all depends. even operators do not know where the market will go. they can only guess the more likely and operate accordingly. if cannot push it down they will push it up. reverse is true. |

CFD incurs daily charges and will renew on monthly basis. That means u need to enter a new contract at end of each mth which incur trading fees (POEMS is generally 0.25%) so may not be profitable to enter into positions for long term be it long or short. I usually use CFD to short

Actually what Justice said is something I always think about. Nevertheless there were a couple of times I realized i lagged in keeping abreast with the news (e.g. sth to do with DJ, etc) while browsing the forums. There were some valid points made by some too. Thank you all. |

Anyone got any suspicions this might be like 2008-2009 big dip after the initial rally? coz the after-effects usually take a while to hit. i havent enter new positions yet. Waiting and watching. hear your thoughts and reasoning to back your conclusion - to help the bros and sis here. Thank you. |

Yes, you didn' t short but it doesn' t mean other members do not. Many members have shorted heavily. Some even have portfolios of 70% short-sell. They are expecting the end of the world coming with the virus wiping out half of the human race. They may be right. Only time will tell.
