I know UOB Kay Hian initiated a trading sell on RS. Not sure if ppl really heed that n short sell. But no matter, we buy a good quality business and it pays to hold on to it.

Wondered why ppl want to short a company that will do well and reward shh with big dividends? The shorts need to pay back dividends on top of potential price gap up. Clever or stupid? Any thoughts anyone?

Short selling is 39% yesterday and today is 52%.. Closing up today means short selling has fail to depress the price futher.

Wondered how many companies can make Gross profit margin of 39.6% ? Better still, how many companies will give out dividends at 151% of their net profits? Riverstone is probably the only rare one who did this.. Why? RS is a cash cow. Boss is confident that the company will make even more profits this year. Today trading 69c Minus 3.5c dividends is only 65.5c. Cheers. |

If RS wants to pump up, which it will and it should, it will be to a point of NO return. The force will be immense. Now at collection mode BUT don need watch RS. Just sit back and take dividends and don care the price |

kaypoh lah ... now you understand why i always said " ball is round round" you think with good result the market will go up .... no lah. certainly not bad a counter with good dividends ... better than putting under the pillow or resting in the bank my plate is too busy and full .... hahaha if i am invested, i would hold for the dividends plus they so kind to press down the price .... where to find both coming together 🤔 |
