May seem far fetched, but who knows, the management would not have put such a figure if they have not evaluated that it is worth that much. Even b4 debut day, a fix near 75cts will pull the local to at least 60 and above. More savvy HK BBs will come to mop up whatever remains here, if there is opportunity for them to cross border trade with say a 7-10% arbitrage gain. Even local savvy investors with deep pockets will do likewise, easy money to be make, lah. With winning so many major projects, this SOE linked kongsi likely to fly high in SEHK, where it seems shorting has not been made legal. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Just my opinion, if HK really do have such a big demand, base on my experience SG will definitely still trade discount to HK price. I find it hard for it to be above HK price, let alone S$ 1.00. But I like your optimism, I wish it to be that price too! Reason for the discount is that as long we are not the primary market, those who buy here and want to transfer there. Process takes 2 months. By then price move or the party is over. i wont deny i think the HK players are here to churn volume and price, but there is a limit to how much they want to push up. They have to maintain a certain price for the Global Offering too.

A number of factors will influence : 1) price being fixed for HK/Global offering  2) any BBs or syndicated ramp up of prices for the initial days or weeks upon HK listing  3) first quarterly result announcement after HK dual listing 4) impending huge project/collaboration announcement, if any  5) US-China trade deal announcement  ... a very good scenario is when all these factors work in synergy to strongly boost share price for a couple of weeks (no horse run ...) Maybe sell in late May and  enjoy your rewards ...  the show has only just begun???    (Early next week, we' ll have a set of renewed price target based on price fixed for HK/Global offering.)    I just enquired about the form to elect scrip dividend.  Will it also be sent direct to those who buy shares using SRS funds?  Anyone knows? And if the fixing is higher at 62c, the disc would be 26.5%. And who knows if it is fixed at max of 74ct, the disc is even better at 51%. If that happens, there will be a huge rush esp by savvy HK BBs to grab, resulting in shortage of suppy in sgx, and price will not stay at 50 or even 60. Just wait for another 2-3 trading days to find out lah.

And who knows if it is fixed at max of 74ct, the disc is even better at 51%. If that happens, there will be a huge rush esp by savvy HK BBs to grab, resulting in shortage of suppy in sgx, and price will not stay at 50 or even 60. Just wait for another 2-3 trading days to find out lah.

Ytd went up 25%, high volume, will not be surprised if counter cont to climb in high volume to 60-65c b4 offer price fixed next mon. Not forgetting, CEWL was heavily traded in ' 14 and ' 15s in the range of 80c to $1.50, and might return there again. Think this counter was terribly manipulated to cause it to fall to such low level as 30c ard last dec/jan. Genuine investors got no choice but to shun it for a long long time.  If not for the avenue of transferring to SEHK, counter will still remain neglected in sgx. Something' s terribly wrong with how our regulator runs the market, imo, sad to say, but what to do.
