Logically when SQ flies, then other transport & hospitality stocks should also fly along with it. But this is not happening right now. More flights means more hotel rooms being booked and more taxis being used.

What's so funny leh ?
Pple are pricing in for recovery though they are bleeding profusely for next couple qtrs... With proliferation of vaccination, pple more convinced to travel and more countries wl be opening up for travellers and Taiwan already making it's move. So no point keep harping the past ...... SMM wl rise and shine again as it's backdrop factor (oil price ) is a blessing to them to catapult them higher.. Cheers

I glanced at the outstanding short positions from Jan till 11Feb. The outstanding was increasing all the way to 5Feb 258M, then 11Feb it was 242M. The first time the outstanding has come down. It will be interesting to see the numbers for the last 2 weeks. |

Very low volumes, 28 million so far, we have some 51 miliion lined up to sell from here till 0.16 so its going to be a slow climb in coming days unless we have some news or short covering induced by broker views of which only DBS and RHB are pending | ||||

Now that I have the hind sight. From the day he shouted till today, the price actually didn' t move. In between it moved 2c up the next day and down 2c after that and climbed back to where it was.

Signs of steps in the right direction for shareholders: UOB Upgrade with Target 0.16 CGS-CIMB Maintains Hold and increases Target to 0.5x PB OCBC Maintains Hold increases Target price to .145 Despite some target prices being low, whats positive is that all 3 have either up their target prices. I.e more favourable and positive than few months back. |
