He can' t sell the condo as it was not worth that much then.  Another case was my JB friend staying staying in a condo. Not my friend lar but his neighbour' s wife jump from 7th floor and died instantly. She invested in the stock and made a hefty profit of more than $350,000 in the beginning. Then she decided to double up but market crash suddenly crash. Her account went from plus to minus nearly 1mil in less than one day and full in debt to the securities firm. So, her best hope was to commit suicide so she does not drag any of her family members. Not everyone that commited suicide are reported on news / media unless is someone well known

We all know parking our money in bank accounts give us no returns at all. As a businessman, we need to make our hard earn money work even harder.  Whatever money I have, I will try my best to get that extra mileage as I am still capable. I don' t want to wait until like 70-80 years old then only start when we all know it' s too late. I want to retire as early as I can as life is short

I am still human hor! My broker / fund manager told me some shares such as Singtel is a defensive stock. So for it to go up or down like a rollercoaster is hard but not impossible.
