 Alert Admin 		Surprisingly, this counter bounces back quick from 17.4 to 18.4cts. That 1 cts is alot liaow.
it appear investor view of this counter changed liaow, previously used to be a dumb stock that is not much value, now different liaow. 
That why bouced so fast back, pp want it liaow

Transocean awarded drillship contract with Hess

Offshore driller Transocean has reportedly landed a nine-well plug and abandonment (P& A) contract with Hess Corporation for the 2010-built ultra-deepwater drillship  Discoverer Inspiration  in the US Gulf of Mexico.


The contract is expected to commence in Q4 2021 and will take around 240 days.

The drillship has been warm stacked since October 2020. In July same year Transocean said it will  lay off  up to 110 workers in September, after it failed to secure another contract for the drillship.

Implication: Previously idle, warm-stacked rigs are flying off the leasing shelves at breakneck speed at current oil prices.
Offshore boom is now. Also, more money to pay for Transocean Atlas and Titan.

 Alert Admin 		The Hyundai heavy and Daewoo merger has been conditionally approved by EU antitrust commission subject to Hyundai Heavy making technology transfer for LNG shipbuilding to smaller rivals by end of June 2021. We should hear about the completion of this process in the coming weeks. KSOE (Hyundai heavy' s parent company) is very confident to get final approval as they have already applied for Hyundai Heavy to go for IPO

Meanwhile, Temasek is waiting patiently....ready to act immediately once the HHI and DSME merger is formally cleared.....latest by end June.

I would resume my SCM and Keppel OM merger countdown on monday. I am not looking forward to it as I believe SCM can soar without the merger. However, Temasek is determined to make it happen for long term strategic considerations....therefore it will happen.

Likely would hear about the Shell Whale and WTIV' s FID in the coming weeks. In Q3, likely to hear about the FID for the Cambo FPSO and Ocean Living vessel. Withe surging oil prices, a deal for the 2 Setes brasil drillships should be imminent. Plus some LNG upgrade/ conversion projects and cruise ship repair work, then enough to do for 2022 and 2023 already.
