x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Same as you, I am holding on to some STI stocks too. Besides, Singapore I have invested in Hang Seng and Dow Jones too. Actually everything will start moving again when China starts opening their own borders. You see the problem lies now with Chinese Government is trying their best not to let any of their citizens out of their country but they are free to leave for other countries but when return to China, they will need to be quarantine themselves for 14-28 days depending on which country they went. Asia will start moving again when China relaxes their border restrictions. The problem now is other Asian countries ain?t really pushing hard enough to stamp down the spread. Remember, vaccine is not and will never be a silver bullet against COVID-19. There is a chain reaction on what China does. As for CDG, I sort of ?know? they have a long way to go. Hahaha. Don?t ask me how i know but i know know lar. Of course we can?t expect all stocks to fly at the same time. There will be some ups and downs. Good insights from your bro. Learn a lot from you! Since 3rd Phase set in, it may speed up its recovery.  Singapore is likely to stage a recovery in 2H of this year, depending on how fast global economies, especially USA will recover. This fast recovery need a herd immunity to grow fast. Health protection come first, then possible economy recovery.  Santa Rally is not much rise in general SG stocks, but January effect this year is much stronger with STI rally to 3000 yesterday, meaning CNY rally music is turned on! My broker and I believe in January effect and CNY rally together. just DYODD. As for strong digitial growth, Airtel seeing profit turnaround and world tourism will likely re-open this year, etc, Singtel will perform close to pre-Covid level this year. As a long term investor, I am holding some STI and trust stocks like Reits to earn dividend to supplement my income.
